There are the most straightforward roads from Solana Beach to Valley Center and back. There are some nicer back roads out and back, but these will get you there fast and are most easily followed. This is a long, challenging and scenic ride intended to escape the coastal overdevelopment. Major climbs include Lomas Santa Fe, Del Dios, Lake Wohlford, and Champagne. Remember, Hill is not a four-letter word.
